Jian is an award-winning photographer, videographer, and visual editor, focusing on how editorial photography and videography shape culture and society. He is a grantee of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, Overseas Press Club Foundation, and National Arts Fund. In the office, he is a former Photo Producer at Magnum Photos, Photo Assignment Editor at New York Post, and Photo Editor at Daily Mail. His clients include National Geographic, Bloomberg, Vice, ESPN, Visio Productions, Avant Arte, and many others. He is the juror for the Siena International Photo Awards(Italy) and World Water Day Photo Contest on climate change(Italy).
